Okochi Sanso Garden is a Japanese garden created over a period of approximately 30 years by Denjiro Okochi, a prominent Showa-era period drama actor. Located on the south side of Mount Ogura, famous for the Hyakunin Isshu poems, it offers a spectacular panoramic view of Kyoto's natural beauty, including Arashiyama, the Hozu River, and Mount Hiei.

◇Access
It's a 15-minute walk from Arashiyama Station on the Randen Line, in the heart of the Arashiyama area. From the museum, it's about a 30-minute walk or a 20-minute rental bicycle ride. Bicycle rentals are available at the museum. Free rentals are available for up to two hours.
