The GrandWest Arashiyama, which opened on September 1, 2017,
As an apartment built in 2000, it blended into Arashiyama and stood quietly.
Located in a quiet residential area, a little away from the Arashiyama tourist area.
Ever since it was a condominium, we have been watching the Gozan no Okuribi in August with the locals on the rooftop.
I lived in Arashiyama not only with the residents but also with the locals.
Arashiyama has been popular as a summer resort for aristocrats living in Kyoto since the Heian period, and continues to this day.
With the desire to let as many people as possible know the charm of Arashiyama, which has a history of 200 years,
It was decided to operate as a hotel operator.

The rooftop overlooking the mountains of Arashiyama can be used exclusively by hotel guests.
Take a deep breath in the morning on the rooftop surrounded by nature, away from the busy tourist spots,
At night, you can relax while gazing at the stars that you cannot see in the city.
In the summer, you can see the bonfires of Gozan from the rooftop, and you can see two of them, the right Daimonji and the torii gate from the front.
Please enjoy the rooftop experience unique to Arashiyama.
